The Simplex 4100-0640 is a display memory expansion module for InfoAlarm Command Centers.
It is a 6 MB module that mounts on the rear of the display board. First, it expands the display’s character memory. Then the InfoAlarm Command Center can render larger font sets.
Simplex 4100-0640 when it is required
This module ships with NDU systems by default. However, it is also required for InfoAlarm Command Centers when any panel uses 2-byte character fonts. In addition, it works with Simplex ES Net and 4120 fire alarm networks. As a result, it supports multi-byte language displays across the network.
Therefore, the 4100-0640 is the correct display memory expansion module for those InfoAlarm applications.
