The Fire-Lite 4XZMF relay module is a plug-in Form-C relay board for the Fire-Lite MS-4 four-zone conventional fire alarm control panel. Specifically, it adds dry contact outputs for alarm and trouble reporting.
First, the module plugs directly into the J3 and J5 (or J4 and J6) headers on the MS-4 main board. Then the relays follow the panel’s zone alarm and system status conditions. As a result, the MS-4 can drive auxiliary equipment such as HVAC shutdown, elevator recall, and remote annunciation.

Where the 4XZMF Is Used
Typically, the 4XZMF is specified when an MS-4 jobsite needs auxiliary contact closures. For example, schools, light commercial, and small healthcare buildings often need HVAC shutdown or door release. Therefore, the 4XZMF is one of the first add-ons ordered for the MS-4 panel.
However, this module is exclusive to the MS-4 / MS-4E panel. Specifically, it does not fit other Fire-Lite panels. As a result, model match must be confirmed before ordering.
