The Resideo 5817CBXT is a wireless 3-zone commercial fire and burglary transmitter for Honeywell 345 MHz panels. First, it converts up to three hard-wired initiating devices into a single supervised wireless point. Then, it reports each loop independently to the receiver.

The 5817CBXT is purpose-built for commercial applications that mix fire and burglary devices. As a result, technicians can wire a water flow switch, a pull station, and a tamper to a single transmitter. Furthermore, the unit is UL Listed for use in commercial fire and burglary systems.

Loop Configuration

• Loop 1 — supervised; uses a 470K ohm end-of-line resistor; typically used for high-priority commercial fire or burglary zones
• Loop 2 — built-in normally closed reed switch (used with a magnet)
• Loop 3 — normally closed household burglary loop
• Loop 4 — tamper loop, auto-enrolled; contains two tamper switches
