The Resideo (746) is a 15-watt indoor wall-mount speaker for Honeywell alarm and intrusion systems. First, it is wired to a siren driver on the host panel. Then, the driver generates the tone, and the 746 reproduces it at room level.

The 746 is the wall-mount sibling of the flush-mount 746F. As a result, the 746 sits proud of the surface for a clean retrofit install. Furthermore, the matching trim ring conceals the mounting screws.

Compatibility
The 746 is compatible with Honeywell/Ademco panels that include a built-in siren driver. In addition, it works with most aftermarket siren drivers wired to a bell-output circuit. However, the 746 will not produce sound on its own — it is a passive speaker.
