Macurco (CM-E1-RF) Cm-e1 round flush mount carbon monoxide gas detector for use with fire alarm/burglary control panels, 9-32vdc

The Macurco CM-E1-RF is a round, flush-mount carbon monoxide detector. Specifically, it installs into a standard 2×4 single-gang switch box. As a result, the round faceplate sits flat against the wall for a clean finish.

First, the CM-E1-RF protects residential, multi-family, and commercial office spaces. Then, it ties directly into fire alarm or burglary control panels via dry-contact relays. In addition, it can stand alone as a local CO alarm.

Macurco CM-E1-RF coverage and sensing

The CM-E1 platform uses a 10-year electrochemical CO sensor. Therefore, drift stays low across the listed life of the cell. Also, coverage reaches 900 square feet per unit, per Macurco’s product page.

Wiring notes

First, connect 9–32 VDC to the input terminals. Then, wire the alarm and trouble relays into the host panel’s input or zone. Finally, follow the CM-E1 manual for end-of-line resistor placement and supervision wiring.

Furthermore, the CM-E1-RF is the flush-mount variant of the CM-E1 family. Alternatively, choose CM-E1 (rectangle) or CM-E1-RS (round surface) for different installations.
