The Mircom CR-6 is a six-relay addressable control module with six Form C contacts.
The CR-6 occupies one starting address on a Mircom addressable signaling line. Specifically, the user sets the starting address between 01 and 94. Then the module automatically assigns the next 5 sequential addresses for the remaining relays. As a result, one CR-6 consumes six addresses total on the loop.
Mircom CR-6 — Configuration
Each of the six Form C contacts can be controlled independently from the panel. In addition, the module provides for disabling up to three of the addresses if not all relays are needed. Therefore, the installer can fit the module to the actual relay count required.
Mounting
The CR-6 mounts in a BB-2 or BB-6 back box. Confirm the correct back box for your installation with Mircom documentation.
Typical Use
Use the CR-6 to drive auxiliary outputs from the fire alarm panel — HVAC interlocks, door release, fan controls, and similar. Confirm panel compatibility with your Mircom documentation before specifying.
