The Edwards D16L-IO-1 is a 16-zone LED annunciator module for iO-Series fire alarm panels. Specifically, it adds 16 zone status indicators to the iO64 or iO500 control panel. As a result, the operator gets at-a-glance zone status without using the LCD display.
This module mounts inside the iO-Series cabinet to the left of the LCD display. Therefore it covers zones 1 through 16. Furthermore, 4 of the 16 zones can be programmed for supervisory indication if required.
Edwards D16L-IO-1 Function
Each of the 16 zones has two LEDs. In addition, the LEDs indicate alarm and condition status per zone. Specifically, the user-configurable insert labels allow each zone to be identified for the site. Therefore the annunciator is custom to the building once configured.

Application Notes
The D16L-IO-1 covers zones 1-16. Specifically, panels with more than 16 zones require additional R-Series remote annunciators. Also, up to 8 serial annunciators total can be installed on a single iO64 system. Furthermore, the D16L-IO-1 plugs directly into the panel main board – no external wiring is required.
