The Siemens DB2-HR relay base adds a relay output to a fire detector base. Specifically, this Siemens DB2-HR relay base signals ancillary devices on alarm. As a result, one detector can trigger doors, dampers, or other functions.
The base mounts low-profile to a surface. Also, it is polarity insensitive for easier wiring. Therefore, installation stays straightforward.
Siemens DB2-HR relay base compatibility
The DB2-HR works with Siemens intelligent detectors, including ASAtechnology devices. In addition, it offers backward compatibility with the ‘H’ series detectors. It is a redesign of the earlier DB-HR base.
Furthermore, screw-clamp contacts simplify electrical connections. Self-wiping contacts also improve long-term reliability.
