The Ditek DTK-WM8NETS is an 8-channel wall-mount surge protector for shielded Ethernet and PoE circuits. Specifically, it doubles the channel count of the WM4NETS in a similar wall-mount form factor.
First, mount the unit near the building cable entry. Then, terminate the eight incoming shielded Ethernet runs on the IN ports and patch each OUT to the network switch. As a result, the DTK-WM8NETS clamps surges on data and power pairs before they reach network electronics.
