The Notifier DPA-1 is a one-row dress plate used with the CA-1 chassis on a Digital Voice Command (DVC) system. Specifically, it mounts in the row that holds the DVC, the DVC-KD keypad/display, and the CMIC-1 microphone.
What the Notifier DPA-1 does on a DVC system
First, the dress plate covers the CA-1 chassis row that mounts the DVC voice-evac controller. Then, its right-hand bays open two ACS-annunciator positions or two blank-plate positions. As a result, the installer closes the front of the row with a single ordered part.
The DPA-1 measures roughly 22 cm wide. Therefore, it sizes itself to a single CAB-4 row inside a Notifier voice-evac cabinet build.
