The DSC WS4945N is a 433 MHz wireless door and window contact. It reports when a protected door or window opens.
Inside, a reed switch and magnet sense the opening. In addition, the “N” version adds a normally open external contact input. As a result, you can wire a separate device into the same transmitter.
DSC WS4945N Features
The contact is about 30% smaller than the older WLS925L-433 and WLS935L. Therefore it fits neatly on slim door and window frames. Also, double-sided tape mounting speeds up installation.
A pre-installed battery activates through a pull tab. So installers do not need to open the case. Both case and wall tamper switches report any interference.
