The Eaton ELCHSRC is an Eluxa-series LED chime/strobe notification appliance. It is ceiling-mounted, red, and operates at 24 VDC for fire alarm service.
The Eluxa family is Eaton’s LED-based notification appliance line. As a result, the ELCHSRC draws less current per candela than traditional xenon strobes. In addition, the integrated chime provides an audible tone alongside the strobe’s visual flash.
Typical Applications
Chime/strobe combinations fit places where a softer audible tone is preferred over a horn. For example, hospitals, libraries, schools, and office buildings often spec chime/strobes in patient or quiet areas. Therefore, the ELCHSRC works where standard horn/strobe output would be too loud or disruptive.

Notes on Compatibility
The ELCHSRC drives from a standard supervised 24 VDC notification appliance circuit. However, sync-protocol selection (Eaton, System Sensor, Wheelock, Gentex, Amseco, etc.) varies by part number suffix. Furthermore, confirm the sync protocol against the appliance setting and the panel/synchronization module before final design.
