The Eaton ELHNRC is a Wheelock Eluxa LED-platform horn. It is a ceiling-mount appliance with a red housing and supports both 12 VDC and 24 VDC operation. The “C” suffix denotes ceiling mount; no strobe is included.
First, the unit produces a fire alarm horn tone for indoor commercial notification circuits. Then, the installer selects one of three patterns: Continuous, T3 (fire), or T3/T4 (fire + CO). As a result, one part number covers both fire and CO notification.

Mounting and Listings
The ELHNRC ships with a hinged mounting plate. Specifically, ceiling mounting options include LSPKBB-C backboxes or 4-inch square boxes 1-1/2 inch or 2-1/8 inch deep. In addition, the appliance is listed under UL 464, CAN/ULC-S525, CSFM, RoHS, and FCC Part 15.
Ceiling dimensions: 6.27 in diameter x 1.69 in D. Furthermore, the UV-stabilized engineered-plastic housing exceeds UL 94V-0 flammability rating.
Compatibility
The ELHNRC works on any standard supervised 24 VDC NAC. Also, the Eluxa family is UL/ULC listed as compatible with sync modules and panels already validated for Wheelock RSS and Exceder LED3 strobe products. Therefore, the ELHNRC can share a NAC with legacy xenon devices within the same field of view.

For combined horn-plus-strobe ceiling coverage, choose the ELHSRC horn-strobe variant instead. Also, the matching white ceiling sibling is the ELHNWC; the wall version of this SKU is the ELHNR. Furthermore, verify the host NAC voltage and sync-protocol requirement before final design.
