The Silent Knight EVS-RCU is a combination supervised remote microphone and annunciator designed for use with the EVS-Series Emergency Voice System, including the 5820XL-EVS. It meets UL requirements for a Local Operator’s Console (LOC), giving responders and building staff full control of the fire alarm and emergency voice system from a remote location.
The included Remote Voice Module (RVM) provides a supervised microphone for live emergency communications, while the integrated annunciator can perform complete operation of the fire alarm system — including alarm silence and system reset. After the main panel, up to four EVS-RCUs can be added for a total of five command units across a single system.
