The Edwards F-XTR120 is a notification appliance circuit (NAC) power expansion transformer. The unit accepts 120-volt AC input.

First, the transformer connects to a 10-zone Edwards fire alarm control panel (FACP). Then, it expands available NAC power to 7.0 amps. As a result, installers can drive more horn/strobe load than the base panel supports on its own.

The F-XTR120 is a power-only component. Therefore, it does not change the panel’s zone count, programming, or supervision.
