The Edwards FX-64RD is an intelligent addressable fire alarm control panel from the Kidde FX Series. It supports one signaling line loop with up to 64 addressable device addresses. Specifically, that loop wires as Class A or Class B. In addition, the panel ships with a factory-installed dual-line digital dialer.
Edwards FX-64RD circuits and capacity
The loop accepts any mix of addressable detectors and modules. Therefore, one panel can protect a complete small-to-mid commercial building. The FX-64RD also provides two Class B notification appliance circuits. As a result, it drives horns, strobes, and speakers across the protected space. Furthermore, the two NACs convert to Class A with the optional SA-CLA module.
