Edwards G1R-CVM Genesis Chime-Strobe — Red Multi-Candela
The Edwards G1R-CVM is a red-finish Genesis Series chime-strobe. First, the device combines a mellow-tone chime with a multi-candela FullLight strobe. As a result, it provides both audible and visual notification on a single 2-wire NAC.
In addition, the chime portion is intended for private-mode audible signaling per Edwards K85001-0574.

Agency listings
Per K85001-0574, the Genesis chime-strobe family carries UL 1971, UL 1638, UL 464, CE, FCC, MEA, and CSFM.
Compatible synchronization sources
The G1R-CVM synchronizes with the G1M, G1M-RM, SIGA-CC1S, SIGA-MCC1S, BPS6A, and BPS10A. Therefore, on a circuit with a Signal Master, both the strobe and chime stay in sync indefinitely.
Choosing the right Genesis variant
First, select G1R-CVM for red-finish chime-strobe without FIRE marking. Then, choose G1RF-CVM for the FIRE-marked variant. For public-mode fire alarm evacuation tone, use the G1R-HDVM horn-strobe instead.
