The Edwards G4TR is the red wall trim plate for the Edwards Genesis LED G4 Series notification appliances. Specifically, it covers the rough box opening and frames a flush-mounted G4 horn, strobe, speaker, or combination appliance.
In addition, the G4TR ships in standard fire-alarm red. As a result, it matches the appearance of paired Genesis LED red appliances. A white version, the G4TW, is also available for installations that use white appliances.
What the Edwards G4TR Trim Plate Does
First, the trim plate provides a clean, finished appearance around a flush-mounted G4 series appliance. Furthermore, it conceals the edges of the wall opening and the appliance back-box.
Also, the trim plate protects the surrounding wall finish during paint, drywall, or other construction work. Therefore, contractors often install the trim plate after final wall finishing is complete.
Compatible Edwards Genesis LED G4 Appliances
The G4TR fits the Edwards Genesis LED G4 series wall-mount notification appliances. Examples include:

However, the G4TR is for wall-mount appliances only. Ceiling-mount G4 appliances use a different trim plate. Therefore, verify your appliance model and mounting orientation before ordering.
