The Honeywell HPTCOVER is a steel enclosure for a plug-in transformer. Specifically, it mounts over a duplex wall receptacle and secures the transformer in place. As a result, the transformer cannot be unplugged by unauthorized hands.
The HPTCOVER attaches like a standard electrical wall plate. Then, two screws fasten the cover to the enclosure body. Therefore, removal requires a tool. In addition, the unit suits the IPGSM communicator and other panels powered by plug-in transformers.
Honeywell HPTCOVER Specifications
First, the construction is 16-gauge steel. The finish is a black pebble-grained powder coat. Then, three 1/2″ conduit knockouts are provided in the bottom, side, and back. Furthermore, low-voltage wiring exits cleanly to the protected device.
Typical Application
Integrators use the HPTCOVER to lock down power feeds for fire alarm communicators. Specifically, it protects the HPP transformer used by the IPGSM-4G family. Also, it works with other Silent Knight and Fire-Lite plug-in transformers.
