The Kidde KI-SB is a standard detector mounting base for the Kidde Signature Series intelligent detectors. Specifically, it provides the wiring interface between the detector head and the SLC loop. As a result, it secures the detector and routes loop power and communication.
In addition, the wiring terminals remain accessible from the room side after mounting. Therefore, installers and technicians can land or service wires without removing the base.

Ordering
First, note the minimum order quantity is two bases. Then, pair each base with the matching KI Series detector. Furthermore, related accessories include the KI-RB4 4-inch relay base and audible bases.
