Kidde (1505-AQN5) Door holder, semi-flush, wall mount – 24-120v

The Kidde 1505-AQN5 is a flush wall-mounted electromagnetic door holder with the SHORT catch plate, from the Edwards/Kidde 1500 Series. Specifically, it is the multi-voltage model accepting 24 VAC, 24 VDC, or 120 VAC.

First, the 1505-AQN5 mounts to a standard single-gang 2 × 4 in outlet box for concealed wiring. Then, the short catch plate engages the door armature when energized. As a result, the door is held open during normal building operation.

In addition, fail-safe release is inherent to the design. Therefore, alarm relay drop or any loss of power releases the door immediately. Furthermore, the swivel contact plate adjusts to any door angle.
