The Kidde VM-1S is a complete VM Series life safety control panel with a silver door. It ships ready to install for mid- to large-sized fire alarm applications.
Specifically, the VM-1S includes the VM-CPU main board, the VM-LCD user interface, one Signature signaling line circuit (SLC), and a PS10-4B universal 10 A power supply. In addition, four on-board Class B notification appliance circuits are pre-wired and ready for field connection.
The panel handles single-building jobs as easily as 24-panel networks of up to 24,000 points. Furthermore, optional voice evacuation, fiber networking, and Ethernet make the VM-1S a flexible mid-range platform.

Power and Listings
The PS10-4B power supply accepts 94 to 264 VAC at 50/60 Hz. As a result, the same panel ships worldwide without hardware changes. Furthermore, the VM-1S is listed to UL 864 (UUKL), UL 2572 for mass notification, and UL 864 for releasing service with the GSA-REL module.
Expansion Path
Order VM-SLC for a second SLC on the VM-CPU. Then add VM-SLCXB for a third and fourth loop. For audio, add VM-PMI. To add firefighter phones, mount a VM-MFK to the VM-PMI.
