The Kidde VM-MFK Master Firefighters’ Telephone Kit adds two-way firefighter telephone capability to a VM Series control panel. As a result, fire personnel coordinate response from the panel itself.
Specifically, the VM-MFK mounts to a VM-PMI Paging Microphone Interface. In addition, the kit ships with a master telephone handset and a single riser interface. Therefore, the VM-MFK and VM-PMI together comprise the fire command center.
Up to five remote firefighter phones can stay active on the riser at the same time. Furthermore, the riser supports Class A or Class B wiring at the installer’s choice.

Installation Requirements
The VM-MFK requires a VM-PMI in the same cabinet for mounting and audio integration. Therefore, order both parts together when adding firefighter phones for the first time. For a seismic install, also order the VM-MFKEQ Master Firefighter Telephone Seismic Kit.
