The System Sensor LENS-A is an amber lens attachment for compatible wall strobes. First, it fits over the strobe to change its output color to amber. As a result, the appliance signals in amber rather than clear. This accessory supports non-fire and ALERT signaling applications.
How to use the System Sensor LENS-A
Amber signaling often marks non-fire events, such as mass notification or area alerts. Therefore, the LENS-A lets one strobe platform serve more than one purpose. In addition, the lens installs over the existing strobe lens. As a result, no separate appliance is required.
Use the LENS-A only with compatible System Sensor strobes marked for non-fire signaling. Furthermore, confirm the host strobe and candela rating before installation. Finally, match the lens color to your facility’s signaling plan.
