The Secutron MRM-710MPU is a single-stage, dual-action addressable manual pull station. It carries a permanently attached intelligent module that supports Secutron’s MP communication protocol. As a result, the station reports its exact address to the fire alarm control panel.
Secutron builds this station from high-quality die-cast metal. In addition, the housing wears a high-gloss red enamel finish for quick identification. Operating instructions appear in raised English lettering. Furthermore, the unit meets the ADA 5-pound maximum activation-force requirement. It is UL listed.
How the Secutron MRM-710MPU Works
First, push the bar labeled “PUSH BAR.” Then, pull down the handle marked “PULL HANDLE.” Pulling the handle immediately activates the addressable module. A plastic break rod provides a visible activation telltale.
To reset, open the station with the included CAT-30 key. Next, return the handle to the upright position. Finally, re-lock the station. Two CAT-30 keys ship with each unit.

Mounting and Installation
The station mounts on a standard single-gang electrical back-box. Alternatively, use the Secutron MRM-700 red metal surface backbox for indoor installations. For weather-resistant surface mounting, Secutron offers the MRM-700WP backbox. However, always install per UL requirements and applicable national or local codes.
One addressing note matters. Specifically, disconnect the SLC loop, or short SLC+ to SLC− at the device, before programming the address. Otherwise, the programmer may overwrite addresses on previously configured loop devices.
