The notifier nbg-12l pull station is a conventional, dual-action manual fire alarm station with a key lock. It signals an alarm to a conventional fire alarm control panel. As a result, occupants can trigger the system fast in an emergency.
How the notifier nbg-12l pull station Operates
The dual-action design needs two deliberate steps. First, the user pushes the handle in. Then, the user pulls it down. The handle latches down and shows a bright “ACTIVATED” indicator. Therefore, staff can quickly see which station was used.
To reset, insert the supplied key and turn it a quarter turn. Then open the cover to return the handle to normal. This key lock also limits unauthorized resets and tampering.
Construction and Listing
The station uses molded polycarbonate for durability. In addition, the handle carries molded instructions, directional arrows, and Braille. It meets UL 38 for manually actuated signaling boxes. Furthermore, it meets the ADA 5-pound maximum pull-force requirement.
It operates from 32°F to 120°F at 10% to 93% relative humidity, non-condensing. You can surface mount it with an SB-10 or SB-I/O box. Alternatively, semi-flush mount it to a single-gang, double-gang, or 4-inch square box.
