The Protectowire OHS-SS is an all-purpose 304 stainless steel fastening clip for installing Protectowire line-type heat detector (LHD) cable. It is mounting hardware — not a detection device.
First, the OHS-SS attaches to a surface or to another mounting accessory. Then the LHD cable seats into the clip. As a result, the cable is held in alignment along the run without crushing its inner insulation.
In addition, the OHS-SS can be used standalone or paired with other Protectowire mounting devices. Furthermore, the 304 stainless construction is suited to corrosive or wash-down environments where carbon-steel hardware would degrade.
