The Potter Electric Signal PAD200-PCD is an analog addressable smoke and carbon monoxide detector. Specifically, it combines photoelectric smoke sensing with electrochemical CO detection. Moreover, it works with panels using the Potter Addressable Device (PAD) protocol. As a result, it delivers multi-criteria protection from a single device.
Potter Electric Signal PAD200-PCD sensing
First, the photoelectric chamber detects smoke from smoldering fires. In addition, drift compensation keeps sensitivity stable over time. Therefore, the detector warns of a dirty condition before it fails. Also, a proven electrochemical cell senses carbon monoxide gas accurately.
Listings and coverage
The PAD200-PCD complies with UL 268, UL 2075, and UL 521 7th Edition. Furthermore, it carries an open-area air-velocity rating of 0 to 300 feet per minute. It is UL listed for a recommended maximum spacing of 30 feet. As a result, it fits offices, schools, healthcare, and light-industrial spaces.
