The DSC PC4002C is the medium expander cabinet for the DSC MAXSYS (PC4020) intrusion platform. It is an empty steel enclosure used for remote expansion modules and supplemental power.
The cabinet measures 10″ wide × 16.5″ high × 3.5″ deep. As a result, it has room for either three expansion modules without a power supply or two expansion modules plus a power supply.
The PC4002C is a security/intrusion enclosure. Therefore, it pairs with DSC MAXSYS expansion hardware — not with fire alarm modules.

Compatible Modules
The PC4002C accepts the standard MAXSYS expansion family. Specifically, it houses the PC4108 8-zone expander, PC4216 16-output expander, PC4204CX power/output expander, and similar Corbus-connected modules. Furthermore, it supports remote-mount expansion when the main MAXSYS cabinet (PC4001C) is full.
Important Application Note
The PC4002C is a security/intrusion enclosure. Therefore, do not use it to house a fire alarm module or fire NAC expander. For fire applications, use a UL 864 listed fire alarm panel and listed expansion enclosure.
