The POTTER CR-135-MP is a 135°F rate-of-rise heat detector for fire protection systems. It belongs to Potter’s THERMOFLEX CR-MP series. Specifically, this model uses dual-action sensing for a fast, reliable response. First, a fixed 135°F element triggers at the rated temperature. In addition, a rate-of-rise element responds when heat climbs about 15°F per minute. As a result, the detector catches both rapid and slow-building heat events.
Sealed Design of the POTTER CR-135-MP
The MP version is built for damp or corrosive areas. Notably, its contacts connect through pigtail leads that exit a sealed plate. Therefore, moisture and corrosion stay away from the wiring terminals. This conventional detector uses a single circuit with normally open contacts. Also, a fusible link locks the contacts in alarm once the fixed temperature is reached.
