The Potter STN-2.5 is a 2.5-foot air sampling tube for duct smoke detection. First, it draws an air sample from inside HVAC ductwork. Then the duct detector tests that sample for smoke. As a result, the system spots smoke moving through the air handling system.

This tube pairs with the Potter PAD100-DUCT addressable duct detector. Specifically, the 2.5-foot length suits duct widths from 1 to 3 feet. In addition, installers cut the tube to match the exact duct. Therefore, it samples air evenly across the airflow.

Installation
