The Protectowire (CC-2W) Cable Tray Clip fastens linear heat detector cable to cable tray side rails. Like the CC-2N, it is a “caddy” style steel clamp with a WAW and snap button. As a result, the detector holds the recommended wave pattern along the tray.
This model is built for thicker tray material. First, the steel clamp grips the heavier side rail. Then, the snap button captures the Protectowire cable. Therefore, the detector stays securely positioned for dependable heat sensing.
Protectowire (CC-2W) Clip Specifications
The CC-2W differs from the CC-2N only in clamping range. Specifically, it fits material from 0.16 to 0.25 inch (4.0 to 6.4 mm) thick. For thinner side rails, choose the CC-2N instead.
