The Protectowire (CC-2N) Cable Tray Clip secures linear heat detector cable to cable tray side rails. It uses a “caddy” style steel clamp with a WAW and snap button. As a result, installers can hold the detector in the recommended wave pattern.
This clip mounts directly to the side rail of a cable tray. First, the clamp grips the rail edge. Then, the snap button locks the Protectowire cable in place. Therefore, the detector stays positioned for reliable heat sensing along its run.
Protectowire (CC-2N) Clip Specifications
The CC-2N is sized for thinner tray material. Specifically, it clamps to material from 0.06 to 0.16 inch (1.6 to 4.0 mm) thick. For thicker side rails, the companion CC-2W model is available instead.
