The Protectowire CTIC is a splicing kit for Type CTI linear heat detectors. It is complete with the connectors needed to join or terminate a CTI detector run. As a result, installers can splice CTI cable cleanly in the field.
This kit is designed only for Protectowire Confirmed Temperature Initiation (CTI) detectors. Specifically, it pairs the male (CTIC-M) and female (CTIC-F) splicing connectors. Therefore, two CTI detector ends connect reliably.

Protectowire requires approved connectors for every CTI splice. First, prepare each detector end. Then, install the male and female connectors. Finally, the splice maintains the integrity of the supervised detection circuit.
