The Silent Knight SD500-LED is an LED driver module for the SLC loop on Silent Knight addressable panels. One module drives up to 80 LEDs for custom annunciation. For example, installers use it behind graphic floor-plan maps and custom status displays.
Capacity scales well. Specifically, up to 40 SD500-LED modules can share one SLC loop. Furthermore, a system supports up to 100 modules in total. Each module takes a unique SLC device ID.
Silent Knight SD500-LED Specifications
- Drives up to 80 LEDs; outputs are current-limited, so no series resistors are needed
- Auxiliary power draw: 220 mA max in alarm, 10 mA standby; LED outputs 10 mA each
- SLC current: 0.55 mA in alarm and standby
- Accepts auxiliary power from any 24 VDC source, including panel Flexput™ circuits
- Eight 12-pin LED output connectors (P/N 130092); LED output wiring is unsupervised
- Operating temperature: 32°F to 120°F (0°C to 49°C); indoor use only
- Ships with its own cabinet and control board
Wire the module’s SLC terminals to the panel’s SC+ and SC− terminals. Then set the module ID and map LED points in panel programming.
