Secutron FH-400-WW Wall/Ceiling Mount Fire Alarm Horn

The Secutron FH-400-WW is a compact wall or ceiling fire alarm horn in white. It runs on 24 VDC. As a result, it loads any compatible 24 VDC NAC at low current.

This is the white “Alert” version. Therefore, it suits applications that pair non-fire emergency communication with the fire alarm system.

Installation Features

The settings switch sits on the back of the unit. As a result, an installed device cannot be re-toned without removing it from the wall. Also, the included shorting clip lets the installer ring out the NAC before the horn is mounted. Therefore, wiring errors surface before final installation.

The Secutron FH-400-WW mounts to a Mircom BB-400 surface back box. In addition, it fits any single-gang, double-gang, 4 in square, octagon, or 4 in junction box. For example, retrofit jobs reuse the existing back box rather than swapping it.

Where the FH-400-WW Fits

The white “Alert” finish supports dual-use systems. For example, a building with both fire alarm and mass-notification voice messaging can color-code devices. However, for combined fire and visible signaling, specify the FHS-400 horn/strobe instead.
