The Siemens FT2014-R3 is a remote display terminal for Cerberus PRO fire alarm systems. It shows the existing status of FC922 (252-point) and FC924 (504-point) Cerberus PRO panels.
First, the FT2014-R3 connects to the FACP through an RS-485 interface. Specifically, FC922 and FC924 panels require the Model FCA2016-U1 RS-485 module. As a result, up to eight remote display terminals can share a single RS-485 loop.
Display and event indicators
A 2″ × 4-3/4″ backlit LCD shows event details in alphanumeric form. Furthermore, the screen scrolls to reveal additional events. The LCD backlight activates on any event or when an operator presses a button.
Separate LEDs light for Alarm, Gas Alarm, Supervisory, and Trouble. Each LED flashes when events are present. Then, the LED switches to steady on acknowledgment. In addition, the terminal includes Power, Ground Fault, and four user-programmable LEDs.
Controls
The FT2014 series has one local-silence button and a navigation key for scrolling events. Also, pressing any button silences the local sounder when an event is active.
