The Edwards SIGA-GRD is a physical smoke detector guard for Edwards Signature Series detectors. First, it forms a protective cage around the detector head. Then, it shields the detector from accidental impact, balls, sticks, or other contact common in high-traffic areas.
Typical applications include school corridors, gymnasiums, public hallways, and industrial spaces. As a result, the guard preserves detector calibration and reduces nuisance damage replacements over the life of the system.
