SigCom SGX-32SK1-SC — Explosion Proof Dual Action Pull Station

The SigCom SGX-32SK1-SC is an explosion proof dual action manual pull station with key reset. It is built for classified hazardous locations and harsh operating environments. Specifically, it is rated for Class I, Division 1, Groups B, C, and D. It also covers Class II, Division 1, Groups E, F, and G, plus Class III, Division 1 (FM).

The station uses a heavy-duty cast aluminum housing. Inside, a DPDT switch connects through screw terminals that accept #22 to #12 AWG field wiring. In addition, the housing carries a NEMA Type 4X rating for extreme weather and washdown areas. It is also UL Marine listed for highly corrosive environments.

Dual Action Operation

First, the operator presses the “PUSH” bar inward. Then the “PULL” handle can be grasped and pulled down with the same hand. Once pulled, the handle locks in place and stays visible from up to 50 feet. Afterward, resetting requires opening the station with the key and re-locking it. Each station ships with one “B” key, one optional break-rod, and installation instructions.
