SigCom SGX-32SK2 Explosion Proof Single-Action Pull Station — Die-Cast Metal
The SGX-32SK2 is a single-action manual pull station built for hazardous-location fire alarm use. First, the heavy die-cast aluminum housing isolates internal contacts from the surrounding atmosphere. As a result, the station can be installed where a standard pull station would not be safe.
Specifically, this is the explosion-proof variant in SigCom’s SGX series. Therefore, it suits petrochemical, refining, paint-finishing, and similar industrial environments. A single forward pull on the lever trips the alarm contacts inside the sealed housing.
Construction
The housing is die-cast aluminum with a corrosion-resistant finish. In addition, it is sized for either surface or semi-flush mounting on standard hazardous-location boxes. The action is single-pull mechanical — no electronics inside the sealed cavity.
