The Silent Knight 5880 is an LED input/output driver module for Silent Knight addressable fire panels. Specifically, it adds LED annunciation and control inputs. As a result, operators gain custom status indication and manual control points.
Silent Knight 5880 inputs and outputs
The 5880 provides 40 programmable LED outputs. In addition, it provides eight supervised dry-contact inputs. Furthermore, installers can program each input individually. For example, an input can trigger system reset, system silence, or an alarm.
The inputs also monitor field devices. Specifically, they can supervise pull stations, waterflow switches, and tamper switches. Alternatively, they can replicate the 5820XL-EVS emergency communication switches.

Compatibility
The 5880 connects over the SBUS. Moreover, up to eight modules can connect to a single panel. Compatible panels include the 6820, 6820EVS, 6808, 6700, 5700, 5808, 5820XL, and 5820XL-EVS.
