The Silent Knight 7860 is a modular telco cable for fire alarm communicators. First, it connects a panel’s built-in digital alarm communicator to the telephone line. As a result, the panel can report alarms to a central station.

The cord uses a standard RJ-31X modular connector. In addition, it plugs into the RJ-31X jack that fire alarm code requires for line seizure. Therefore, installation stays simple and consistent with standard practice.
Where it is used
