The Silent Knight EVS-RVM is the Remote Voice Module for the Emergency Voice System. First, it extends live voice and messaging to a location away from the main panel. As a result, responders can make announcements from a remote command point.
Silent Knight EVS-RVM in the voice system
The module connects over the EVS voice bus and SBUS. In addition, it works alongside the EVS-LOC console and the EVS-SW24 switch expander. Therefore, you can build a distributed voice system across a large facility.
Where it fits
Large sites often need a second voice control point. Specifically, lobbies, security desks, and command centers benefit from remote paging. Moreover, the EVS-RVM supports these layouts without adding a second panel.
Compatibility and listings
The EVS-RVM is designed for the Silent Knight 5820XL-EVS and 6820EVS panels. Finally, it is part of a system listed to UL 864 and UL 2572.
