The Silent Knight SK-IP-2UD is an IP communicator kit with upload/download support for Silent Knight panels. It is UL listed for fire alarm monitoring over a network path. The kit includes the IPENC enclosure and the IPBRKT mounting bracket. As a result, panels can report alarms over IP instead of leased phone lines.
The communicator connects to the panel’s primary and secondary DACT ports. It then converts Contact ID signals into encrypted UDP packets over Ethernet. Furthermore, the 2UD version adds a modem daughter board. That board supports upload/download over the Internet or an intranet. Remote programming works with IntelliKnight 5820XL and 5808 panels.

The SK-IP series is UL listed for monitoring Silent Knight fire alarm panels. Therefore, check the compatibility table in the IP Communicator Series installation document, PN 53109. Power the unit from 24 VDC filtered, regulated, non-resettable power.
