The Simplex 2080-9069 is a flush-mount maintenance disconnect switch for Simplex fire suppression releasing appliance circuits (RACs).
First, the switch provides a visible, secure disconnect for servicing a RAC. Then it uses a maintained-position keyswitch where the key removes only in the normal position. As a result, the switch cannot be left in the disabled position by accident.
How the Simplex 2080-9069 Operates
In the disabled position, the switch opens the connection to the output circuit. In addition, it places a 16.2 kΩ resistor across the input circuit. Therefore, the host panel reports a supervisory condition while the RAC is offline.
This 2080-9069 model is the version without a disconnect indicator lamp.
Mounting
