The Simplex 4098-9751 is an in-duct smoke detector housing designed to mount on HVAC ductwork and accept TrueAlarm addressable sensor heads for continuous air-sampling smoke detection. The housing features integral sampling tubes that draw air from the duct across the sensor head, providing reliable duct smoke detection per NFPA 72 and NFPA 90A requirements.
The 4098-9751 includes an integrated relay output that provides a dry contact for HVAC fan shutdown, damper control, or other HVAC system interlock functions when smoke is detected. This distinguishes the 4098-9751 from the relay-free 4098-9750 model.
