The Simplex 4098-9776 (catalog number 07431964) is the black-finish TrueAlarm standard addressable sensor base for IDNet and MAPNET II fire alarm systems. The 4098-9776 base contains integral addressable electronics that digitize the detachable sensor’s output and transmit status to the host fire alarm control panel every four seconds via two-wire communications. The DIP-switch address is front-accessible under the sensor; the address remains assigned to the mounting location. Mounting requires a 4″ octagonal or 4″ square electrical box (1-1/2″ minimum depth) or single-gang box (2″ minimum depth). Screw terminals accept 18 to 14 AWG (0.82 mm² to 2.08 mm²) wiring. Humidity range is 10% to 95% RH; storage temperature is 0° to 140°F (–18°C to 60°C).
