The simplex 4100-1331 amplifier is a primary 100 W audio amplifier for the Simplex 4100ES fire alarm and emergency voice communication system. It operates at 70.7 VRMS output from a 120 VAC, 60 Hz input.
First, the amplifier decodes digital audio from the 4100ES audio chain. Then it drives the connected speaker circuits at 70.7 VRMS. In addition, it is a single-channel amplifier — every connected speaker circuit receives the same audio signal. As a result, it suits sites that need higher wattage on a 70 V distributed-audio plant.
simplex 4100-1331 amplifier Key Features
- Primary 100 W audio amplifier for Simplex 4100ES emergency voice systems
- 70.7 VRMS output
- 120 VAC, 60 Hz input
- Single-channel design (one audio signal across all connected speaker circuits)
- Six onboard Notification Appliance Circuits, expandable to twelve via Expansion Modules
- Designed for use with the 4100ES family of fire alarm control panels
Where the 4100-1331 Fits
Specifically, the 4100-1331 suits larger 4100ES voice-evac jobs that need 100 W of audio over a 70 V speaker plant. Therefore, it is the right choice when a single 50 W Flex amplifier is no longer sufficient and the speaker load distributes across many circuits.
