The American Time 6310-9075 is a 12-inch round semi-flush impulse clock. It replaces the Simplex 6310-9075 in master clock installations. The black-bezel finish matches the original Simplex housing.
This clock runs as a 24V minute-impulse slave. In addition, it accepts hourly correction signals from a compatible Simplex master clock. As a result, large facilities stay time-synchronized across distributed clock locations.
How the American Time 6310-9075 Works
First, the master clock sends a one-minute electrical pulse over the impulse loop. Then, this clock’s movement advances the minute hand one position per pulse. Furthermore, the hourly correction signal aligns slow or fast clocks back to the master time. Therefore, the entire facility shows the same time at the top of each hour.
