The Silent Knight SK-IP-2 is an IP communicator kit for Silent Knight fire alarm panels. It is UL listed for fire alarm monitoring over a network path. The kit includes the IPENC enclosure and the IPBRKT mounting bracket. As a result, panels can report alarms over IP instead of leased phone lines.
The communicator connects to the panel’s primary and secondary DACT ports. It then converts Contact ID signals into encrypted UDP packets over Ethernet. In addition, the SK-IP-2 provides two supervised inputs and two additional outputs. Use the IPBRKT bracket when mounting inside the HP300ULX power supply.

The SK-IP series is UL listed for monitoring Silent Knight fire alarm panels. Therefore, check the compatibility table in the IP Communicator Series installation document, PN 53109. Power the unit from 24 VDC filtered, regulated, non-resettable power.
